Tom Milton is the owner and father of Prosperity Works, Inc. He is a lifelong outdoorsman and passionate small business guy. On the outdoors front, Tom is an Eagle Scout, a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School, trained in Wilderness First Aid, a Scoutmaster and has hiked roughly 60% of the Appalachian Trail. On the business front, Tom spent nearly 19 years in sales with a manufacturer of air compressors- the last 8 years he was there he was Vice President of Sales for North America. During that time, he successfully launched several new product lines in the North American market. One of Tom's passions is teaching- he was responsible for all sales, product and technical training for these new product lines. He left the company by choice when the company was sold to a much larger multinational company and is now having a blast creating, owning and running several small businesses. In addition to the businesses under Prosperity Works, Tom and his wife also own DHMKids (www.shopdhmkids.com).
Most of all, Tom is a people person who loves to use his experiences to help others and that is what lead him to begin coaching as a profession and to become a Certified Passion Test Facilitator and a Certified Coach Practicioner. "I am a hands on, bootstrap kind of a guy at heart, so I like to learn how and why things work so that I can do many of them for myself and others. For things that are not on my wavelength, I look for great people to help me and my customers. My adventures in the business world over the last 23 years have taught me many things that I would love to share with you. If you own a small business, are considering starting one or just want to have a clearer, better life, I would truly love to be of service to you."
When founding this business, we decided to become a member of One Percent For The Planet- a growing group of businesses that commit to donate at least one percent of Sales (not just profits) to "keep the earth in business". Our first company check was written to pay our initiation fee and I only get to decide where 20% of the donations go- my 4 kids get to decide where the other 80% goes and we have a great time doing that.
Prosperity Works, Inc. exists in order to make life better for all who come in contact with us. What can we do to help you?
